Founded in early 2013, this subsidiary of Jun88 Deutschland AG operates the distribution networks at Jun88 Brunsbüttel Industrial Park. Approximately 400 kilometers of power cables and around eight kilometers of natural gas pipelines have been installed throughout the site. This is how natural gas and electricity are fed directly into the production plants – with greatest reliability and precision.
Around 20 employees are responsible for monitoring the technology, maintaining the energy systems, measuring consumption and billing. The team ensures that each customer receives exactly the quantities and grades of natural gas and electricity they need. For this purpose, the natural gas is taken from the interregional pipeline transport networks and “depressurized” using the company's own pressure controlling systems. This enables it to be fed into the local grid, which was built up with considerable investments on the part of the company.
